The Flight Story

Flight is proudly owned by Kate Baumwell, Christian Ulvert, and Carlos Andrade, three Miami Shores neighbors who are thrilled to share their passion and love for good wine and food.

Christian Ulvert, owner of EDGE Communications, brings a love of hosting and a soft spot for bold cabernet sauvignons, especially California reds. His husband of thirteen years, Carlos Andrade, is the founder of CLAUG Creative Art Studio and brings an artist's eye to every experience matched with impeccable tastes for fusions of flavors in food. His picks span the globe, from a refreshing rosé to a chilled white alongside a perfectly plated meal. Kate Baumwell is a photographer, medical office manager, and founder of the Whiskers and Wine Foundation. Her pour of choice is Grenache, or anything Italian.

Together, we have taken curated a menu with delicious bites to enjoy with every glass.
